Why We Built This Site
Public access in West Virginia begins by identifying the court level. Brianne Steele, the Raleigh County Circuit Clerk, keeps Circuit and Family Court records, while the Magistrate Court Clerk handles the county's limited-jurisdiction docket. WVPASS provides public Circuit Court searching, and the Magistrate Case Record Search covers many Magistrate matters. Beckley ordinance cases follow a separate municipal route. We organized those distinct search paths, record-request steps, case-number clues, and official contacts so readers can avoid sending a request to the wrong office.
What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do
Raleigh County Court Docket is a privately run reference site, not part of the West Virginia judiciary, the West Virginia Circuit Court, the Raleigh County Circuit Clerk's office, or any government agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We cannot issue certified copies of a docket, order, or other court paper
- We cannot reschedule, reset, or change a hearing or court date
- We cannot provide legal advice about an individual matter
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- We cannot seal, remove, or amend any docket entry or case
- We cannot promise that a listed fee, setting, telephone number, or office detail remains current
An official or certified copy must come from the court that holds the file. For Raleigh County Circuit and Family matters, that generally means the Raleigh County Circuit Clerk; Magistrate records belong with the Magistrate Court Clerk.

Outside providers power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its results, prices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports free access to this guide. We neither set the provider's charges nor control the information it returns.
